Driver of anything with four wheels and a steering wheel

April 23rd, 2015
The season has begun so here is a quick recap of the past few weeks at CGM! The season opener at Lawrenceburg Speedway on 4/11/15 was a good one. With a field of 22 strong cars, Cody drew for his starting position in the heat race. He started 4th and after a hard charging 8 laps, he came out on top winning his heat! The car was awesome and seemed to be set up the way it needed to be. Cody redrew for his starting position in the A main, with a young fan drawing a 4 for him. As the race began, Cody was on a charge to get in the front. He came up to 2nd after lap 4, but as the track began to change and slick off, Cody started struggling with the car. Brakes were going out, and Cody faded to a disappointing 11th place finish. It was still a confidence booster to start the season off! April 18th, Cody was back in action again at Lawrenceburg Speedway. Once again, a tough field of drivers were there to win the show. Cody started 6th in his heat race, and ended up finishing 5th. All cars started the A main, so Cody was in the show. After charging up to 10th at the halfway mark, the rear caliper sheared off in the rear-end, ending his night. Cody and the team have decided to take this weekend off to prepare for the busy schedule ahead. Stay tuned for more updates and results!
